GB News: Clare Muldoon brands Keir Starmer a ‘robot’
GB News star Clare Muldoon hit out at Keir Starmer as she accused the prime minister of failing to secure UK borders. On Wednesday’s (June 4) instalment of GB News Breakfast, presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ellie Costello shared news that the Rwanda scheme did deter small boats. The Rwanda plan was an immigration policy implemented by the governments of Boris Johnson, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, but was scrapped by Sir Keir after he won the general election in July.
This led Clare to declare: “Unless we do change things in our defence, my starting point would be that we need to defend our borders and if we don’t defend them then what do we have left to defend?” “What’s the point in being in government?,” Eamonn quipped as Clare agreed. She continued: “It would suggest that we have commented in the past, well it’s my belief, that people are coming here sold on this being the land of milk and honey and plenty and that is the message that’s being sent to the camps in France and Italy and everywhere else.

“They’re told ‘Go to Britain.’ El Dorado was even mentioned – ‘That’s what you’re going to get there.’ So it would seem from the date that after Rwanda was scrapped then there was a greater influx of predominantly young men, no women, no children, coming over via the boats and I think it’s ridiculous.”
Eamonn agreed, but pointed out that the government isn’t doing anything about it. Clare went on: “I think we’re going to have to do something about it. There needs to be a crosstable, all party discussion on how to deal with this
“When he goes to the Hague, Starmer the robot, to discuss the defence, this needs to be on the table.” She said the prime minister needs to get Emmanuel Macron “by the jacket” and explain why he’s not properly protecting our borders.
“Some accountability, please!,” Clare fumed.

It comes after almost 1,200 migrants crossed the Channel in small boats on Saturday (May 31), Home Office figures revealed. This was a daily record for 2025 and brought the provisional annual total so far to 14,811.
Sir Keir has been accused of “losing control” of UK borders after he pledged to “smash the gangs” to stop illegal migration to Britain.
