The group activated fast-track claims services across its life, property and casualty, health and annuity insurance businesses, alongside its 24-hour customer hotline.
Ahead of the typhoon’s landfall, Ping An P&C used its Eagle Eye DRS Risk Reduction Platform to monitor the storm and send weather alerts and disaster prevention guidance.

In the agricultural sector, Ping An sent more than 6.64 million disaster alerts and risk mitigation notifications to 534,000 farmers.Â
It also helped reinforce facilities in high-risk farming communities and supported the emergency harvesting of more than 88,000 mu of rice ahead of the severe weather.
Ping An P&C has deployed 1,866 specialists to deal with flood-related losses and secondary geological hazards.Â
The team includes specialists in flooded-vehicle claims, new-energy vehicle battery systems and auto glass repairs.
The insurer has also mobilised 425 rescue tow trucks and more than 4,000 pieces of emergency equipment and supplies, including flood-control sandbags and water barriers.
Ping An said it would continue to monitor weather conditions and coordinate resources across the group to provide emergency assistance and process claims. Its 24-hour service hotline, 95511, is available to both Ping An customers and others seeking assistance.
