Windows 10 is basically terrible. Had a slow laptop. Did a reset. Thankfully kept my files and worked faster but but USB mouse stopped working. Could not restore back to previous point as it was not there. Microsoft technician could not solve problem. Tried 3rd party company Driver Easy as last resort but did not work. They to their credit gave me a refund. USB ports work with everything except a mouse. The simplest device you can connect to a laptop.
Mouse works in safe mode and with ubuntu but not normal Windows. It's laughable. Recently Windows would only let me sign in with a temporary account. Found solution on youtube.
Starting to think this is a ruse to get people to throw out old computers and buy new ones. BTW solution in this video did not work for me. Glad it worked for others though.

i told you usb 3.0 chipset is already installed to your windows 10 the chipset driver only waits to detect from the physical motherboard to be insert the device.
