  1. Can i use a not a usb stick but an actual USB drive ?
as the restore image is more than 200 GB with all the files in there as well

  2. thanks dave great info. can i use the same usb recovery drive i made on my friends pc and laptop and his version of win 10? ( new subscriber)

  3. How much time it really does take ,like when u click on "create a recovery drive" >>and then we have this window as " please wait "; you've mentioned it as short wait but for me it really taking more time like it has been since 22 mins when it has appeared before , waiting for it to go next .. how much time it really does take ?

  4. i wanted to know imgine this all ur files add up to about 50 gb of storage

and will it all download it in the memory stick which only has 16 gb of storage?

    pls answer me

  5. Excellent instructions and easy step by step for us not so young and you make sense. Thank You and dont pay any attention to those uninformed giving thumbs down, they're just jealous

  6. also, when my computer finished making my recovery Drive, it only had the option to finish. It didn't have the other steps to eject the USB drive.

  7. also, when I made my recovery USB drive yesterday, I had to click on the Administrator option to get the recovery information to come up. I'm the only user on my laptop, but for some reason, I'm not automatically listed as a Administrator. Thought that might be helpful information to someone. Because I was confused a little at first when I didn't see the option right off but saw the run as administrator option and clicked on it, it became visible.

  8. I just created a recovery USB drive and my windows 10 told me I needed a 16 GB USB and to make sure if I had anything on it to back it up onto another drive. It took all afternoon and that evening and into the morning to create it using a 64GB SanDisk Ultra compact 3.1. I bought my HP laptop in 2018 with 8GB of RAM but my hard drive is probably the slowest one for my model; I was looking up a Spare part replacement on HP sight; just thought I would share the info. I did make a Windows 10 64bit clean install on a 32 GB USB of the same type and brand.
Quick question: with the recovery USB, is it necessary for a clean install? Maybe you can explain the difference and purpose between the 2? Do you know what F key I need to press during start up to initiate the clean install? Also, what if I wanted to do a full format of my C:// drive? would that erase the partitions on the hard drive? would it also erase the recovery partition that is in D://? Thanks for sharing the knowledge. Also, I had thought that I might need to replace my hard drive, but when I shut down my computer today, this is after a couple of days ago when my computer fixed some of the drive errors I was getting, it didn't go to a black screen and tell me to press F2 and run the diagnostics, but it asked me whether to project content only to my PC or it had a few other options to select from but my mouse curser wasn't available; I had to use the arrow buttons and use the Enter key. Anyway, that is why I thought doing a full format and either using the recovery USB I made or the Windows clean install USB? If I made any sense lol thanks

  9. Windows 10 has been the biggest headache in my computer career. I bought my first computer in 1980. 40 years of using and working with computers and now the nightmare Windows 10. I’ve wasted more time effort in the last few years trying to get the buggy operating system to work properly. All I want is an OS to run my programs nothing fancy.. Vista worked fine for me. With Windows 10 nothing is easy anymore from updates to upgrading hard drives to having Microsoft intruding and making unauthorized changes to my computer. Windows 10 has helped Microsoft it certainly hasn’t helped me. I’ll be happy to see the day when there’s another option. I don’t want anything to do with anything Microsoft makes or sells. For now I’m forced to use problem child garbage OS Windows 10.

  10. yAmazing video but I allways prefer to use genuine windows 10 on my laptops , I get it from originalkey.space , original and safe

The new Windows 11 user interface and Start menu look very similar to what was originally found in Windows 10X. Microsoft had been simplifying Windows for dual-screen devices, before canceling this project in favor of Windows 11. Visually, the biggest changes you’ll notice can be found along the taskbar. Microsoft has centered the app icons here, cleaned up the tray area, and included a new Start button and men

  11. There was an update for my pc a couple days ago and it automatically updated and later that night when I shut off my pc and turnt in back on in the morning this program popped up (Msi Click Bios 5) and I have no idea what to do and I every time I click off of it redirects me to the same program

  12. Hi Dave
what is the reason that a bootable disk created from one brand of laptop or desktop will not work in any other brand.
How to fix this to make this bootable disk works fine in all other brands of laptops and desktops
