เมื่อนักท่องเที่ยวมาถึงพื้นที่ของเราแล้วจะมีการประเมินคุณภาพการบริการของคนในท้องที่ ซึ่งคุณภาพการบริการก็คือลักษณะของการบริการต่างๆ ที่ทำให้นักท่องเที่ยวเกิดความพึงพอใจ เกณฑ์ในการวัดคุณภาพความพึงพอใจจะมีด้วยกัน 5 มิติด้วยกัน ได้แก่
มิติที่ 1 ความเชื่อถือได้ หรือความเที่ยงตรง หมายถึง การนำเสนอการบริการตามคำมั่นสัญญาที่ให้ไว้อย่างตรงไปตรงมา
มิติที่ 2 การให้ความมั่นใจ หมายถึง ความรู้ ความเหมาะสม ความสุภาพของพนักงานผู้ให้บริการ และความสามารถในการสร้างความไว้วางใจ และความมั่นใจแก่ผู้รับบริการ
มิติที่ 3 ลักษณะที่จับต้องได้ หมายถึง ลักษณะที่ปรากฏให้เห็น เช่น อาคารสถานที่การแต่งการของพนักงาน ผู้ให้บริการ สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และอุปกรณ์เครื่องมือ เป็นต้น
มิติที่ 4 การเอาใจเขา มาใส่ใจเรา หมายถึง ความเอื้ออาทรใส่ใจของผู้ให้บริการที่มีต่อผู้รับบริการ
มิติที่ 5 การตอบสนอง หมายถึง ความเต็มใจที่จะช่วยเหลือผู้รับบริการให้ความช่วยเหลือได้ทันที ทันความต้องการ
