I'll be glad if anybody can answer my problem . my problem is similar to this but my mouse freezes and when it freezes the same message pops about saying USB not recognized I did everything , I even when to recovery mode and made a whole new account. still the same . I unplugged my my mouse and plugged it into my macbook Mac is x. and my mouse worked , that tells me the problem isn't the mouse.

usb001 is there, the usb printer & cable work on other computer, other devices work in the usb slots on this computer-it just won't recognize when the HP C7280 is plugged in-of note, device manager is blank. Plug & play is set to automatic start- EVERYONE in service has read permission & SYSTEM has FULL & read permissions. There is also an OWNER RIGHTS that has special permissions . I can't install a printer manually since Microsoft can't/won't load its drivers … ideas? I have unplugged printer from power (both the end of the power cable at the printer and at the wall socket) & the USB cable at both the computer & the printer, just in case.

One small thing i found out was if you select HDD in the boot menu sometimes the USB will be Read as a HDD and not a Removable HD this was with a E machine running vista

i cant take out my pc battery because its not separate, the battery doesnt clip on or off from the pc because its under the shell i'd have to leave the shell off and i 'm afraid i might break my pc leaving it around the reach of my family. help

Hi, my laptop keeps telling me "USB device not recognized" and keeps playing this annoying sound. The message is constantly there and will fade away for a bit then come back. I went into the computer folder and deleted the unspecified device from there but the warning message is still persistent as ever. Please help me to fix this problem. I am not very computer literate. So step by step is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a Dell Demension 3100, and a few days ago this dinasour wouldn't boot up on me, and I am still at this phase to an extent–really frustrating. Well its booting now, bot when I get to the Windows desktop this Keyboard and Mouse are ineffective! This started a couple of days ago, there was a DLL-Fix error popping up stating that it was optimizing my registry (it would do this everytime I'd attempt at logging in or booting up to Windows), but I remember when I was using my computer before this ordeal took place that I removed this software from my PC so I thought it was a virus. Anyway, I used a boot disc to restore the registry back to factory settings, this actually worked but the USB and PNP are not working once I I get to the WIN XP desktop, any suggestions? BTW this same boot disc is how I am online typing this to you….I'm using MiniXP!! HOpe to hear from you soon!

i had a beast gaming elephant – headset that ive been using for like 1-2 months,it was working fine and then finally i think i accidentally pulled the cable a bit and then boom the usb is not recognized msg comes out.I tried it out on a different computer(laptop),still does not work.i tried fix it,uninstall,disable,anything that i can try,unplugging power supply and else.
however,i havent tried your's tho,with the unplugging battery of the motherboard,i just want you to know,what r your suggestions?

Hi i have a steel series 6gv2 mechanical keyboard that turns on when I replug the usb but after playing games with it, it turns off in 5-10 minutes and says usb not recognized PLZ help Ty
Thanx man, cuz my mouse was not working after i tried to connect my ps3 controller in the same port that the mouse was in. Then i took out the battery and it worked. God bless.

My mouse is not responding,even when i plugged it into all the usb ports no response, same with my keyboard but the audio still works in every usb port ,also my monitor isn't responding. I plugged the mouse and keyboard to another computer and they worked fine the fans and everything are working fine. Please help if you can thanks.
