Learn how to compare and contrast in English with the word \”WHEREAS\”.
\”whereas\” is a conjunction. We use it to show contrast between 2 facts or ideas. Contrast means to show the difference between two things.
Watch the video to learn the 2 different types of structure we can use with \”whereas\” and to see several example sentences. At the end of the lesson, there is an exercise with 4 questions to test your knowledge and understanding. Write your answers to the exercise in the comments below the video.
