In this video I show you how to add a TCP/IP port for use with a printer..

Hi, I am having the same problem with my HP Deskjet 2710. Will following your exact same steps work for my printer as well? Using the numbers you have used for the port? Sorry, not techy. Appreciate your response. Thank you!

Excellent, Thanks. It was really useful and informative. I followed this video and solved my printer problem.
Hi Marcus, This is a really good video. It assumes I've set a fixed IP address on the printer, outside of the range of the DHCP server on the router, but it does contain the essential information about setting a manual port for the printer: like you, I think the virtual HP port was causing me a lot of issues. It's all working for now. I also like re-establishing the printer driver via the menus. Very good. Thanks for the help!
aaah Thank you for the tie you took to poke around to figure out how to get this to work. You explained so well and it got my printer to start printing again. Bless you!
I have a Panasonic KX-P7100 printer The last time I used it was on XP. Is there any way to use it with Windows 10? (new laptop. 6 months old) I tried the tcp/ip setting but don't know what the numbers are. This printer does not have a display. Or do I have to connect it to an old netbook running XP and network share it? Thanks
