Sompo Life Re, Ltd. (Life Re) has established a new Bermuda-domiciled life reinsurance platform, supported by a multi-year service agreement with technology-enabled insurance-asset and liability management specialist Agam Capital.
The agreement follows extended collaboration during Life Re’s launch phase, where Agam assisted in setting up operational capabilities and securing the company’s Bermuda licence.
Under the new contract, Agam Bermuda will deliver ongoing specialist services to the Sompo-led management team.
These services cover Life Re’s financial, actuarial, and risk management operations, whilst also aiding management in evaluating strategic asset allocations.
