Allianz Trade in Asia-Pacific (APAC) has named Scott Munafò as its new China CEO.
He will be based in Shanghai. Munafò joined Allianz Trade in 2015 as part of its Multinationals team and has held commercial and account management roles across MMEA, APAC and Northern Europe.
He was appointed regional account director for Northern Europe in 2021 before becoming group head of Broker Management and Partnerships in 2025.
In that role, he was responsible for the company’s global commercial and distribution strategy and broker partnerships across multiple regions.
Munafò holds an MBA from POLIMI Graduate School of Management and a law degree from Università Bocconi, with a major in Public Sector and Law.
