Chubb appoints Joglekar to lead Malaysia operations

He will oversee personal lines accident and health and commercial property and casualty.

Chubb has appointed Gurudutt Joglekar as Country President of Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad, effective immediately, to oversee growth across the firm’s Malaysian consumer and commercial insurance operations.

Joglekar brings over 20 years of insurance industry experience across Malaysia, Hong Kong, and India, specialising in motor and commercial property and casualty underwriting. 

He originally joined Chubb as Deputy Country President in June 2026.

In his new role, Joglekar will oversee Chubb Malaysia’s general insurance operations across personal lines, accident and health, and commercial property and casualty. 

He will report directly to Marcos Gunn, Regional President for Asia Pacific.

Joglekar succeeds Jon Longmore, who is transitioning to a new position within Chubb that will be announced shortly.
